Horti Glass delivers Horticulture float glass, Hortiglass Diffuse and Hortiglass Diffuse +AR. Not only Horticulture float glass, but also Hortiglass Diffuse and Hortiglass Diffuse +AR are available now with anti reflection treatment. Due to this treatment the highest light transmission come within reach.
Instead of using a coating, Hortiglass anti reflection glass is produced by adjusting the glass with a nano scale treatment. This 'so called' etcher technique reduces the reflection of light by the glass. This results in an 8% increase in the amount of light in the greenhouse. The advantages for crop cultivation pay out in a more active crop and an increase in fruit weight.
It is possible to clean anti reflection glass with a rooftop washer on the outside and water on the inside. The use of chemical cleaning products (conventional in horti culture) can not be used for cleaning anti reflection glass. These products slightly remove the upper layer of the glass, which damages the anti reflection treatment.
